The topped the Headline Red Sox 6-3 in the final to win the Shooters League Kick Off tournament. Donnelly Archibald had 10 k"s in the win, while Randy Frame took his 2nd loss of the day to the Elks. Coby Crowell and Mike Wood had 2 RBI a piece to help the offense.

It was a great day of ball, despite the cold. There were great games on both diamonds, including an extra innings affair between the veteran Pepperjacks and the young Royals.

The regular season opens Thurs night and will see the Elks vs Royals in Brookfield, Red Sox vs Lions in Lantz and Pepperjacks vs Rockies in St. Croix. Come out and check out some great action.
