ELKS AND BANDITS MEET IN SBGFL FINALS STARTING THURSDAY

Schofield Tosses Perfect Game

In Game 1 of the Brookfield Elks and Shubie Lions semi-finals series on Thursday night, Elks pitcher, Justin Schofield, fired a perfect game with 19 strikeouts in a 5-0 win.  The Elks would go on to win Game 2 by a score of 6-3 an advance to their second straight SBGFL finals.

They will now await the winner of the Canada Games Team and Halifax Bandits series which begins on Tuesday night in Lantz.
