ELKS GO BACK TO BACK

The Brookfield Elks have repeated as SBGFL Champions after defeating the Halifax Bandits 10-0 on Tuesday night and winning the series three games to none.

Playoff MVP, Justin Schofield, once again had a dominant performance in the circle, allowing just two hits with 14 strikeouts.  In 31 innings of work in the playoffs, Schofield allowed only four earned runs and had a whopping 79 strikeouts.

Offensively in Game 3, Coby Crowell for the Elks went 3-4 with a double, homerun and three RBI's.

The SBGFL executive would like to thank all players and fans who attended this year.  2022 is looking like it could be a big summer for ball in our parts.  Stay tuned over the winter and spring for big updates.
