The Shooters Bar & Grill Fastpitch League (SBGFL) is a 6 team league that contains some of the best men's fastpitch players in the Nova Scotia. The vast majority of the players from the 2017 Senior Men's National Champion East Hants Mastodons play in our league. The goal of the league is to increase the talent level each year to aid in the performance levels at all National Championships,and to drive the growth of fastpitch softball in Nova Scotia.

The SBGFL began in the summer of 2013 with the Carl Anthony Charros winning that first league championship.

Since then, the Halifax Pepperjacks won in 2014 and 2015.  The Whiterock Rockies reeled off three straight championships from 2016-2018 and a new champion was crowned in 2019 with the Shubie Lions hoisting the title.

In 2020 we will see a whole new level of play and commitment from the teams and players in the SBGFL.

The season will start with our kickoff tournament on the first weekend in June and then move on to regular season play on that next Thursday.

There will be a 25 game regular season followed by a new Best of Series playoff format.

In between all that we will be hosting the 1st Annual Tide Fest Classic from July 9th-12th as part of the very popular Tide Fest in East Hants.
